Pierce County Fair Foundation

The Pierce County Fair Foundation, a 501(c)(3) organization, was formed in 2020 with the primary objective of supporting the mission of the Pierce County Fair through its efforts to promote & provide scholarships and youth development opportunities for future generations.

The mission of this Foundation shall be, as a community-based organization, to assist, support and promote the Pierce County Fair Association in their effort to provide scholarships and educational programs, while preserving and improving the Fair for future generations. In executing the mission, the Foundation will:

  • Play a role in the continued development and improvement of the commercial and entertainment value of the Pierce County Fair.
  • Support our diverse community by endorsing activities that encourage positive citizenship and fellowship.
  • Seek financial support for the scholarship and educational programs of the Fair.

As many know, 4-H is a huge Community Partner of the Pierce County Fair.

Hill and Dale District Garden Clubs

Hill and Dale District Garden Clubs

The Hill and Dale District of Garden Clubs is represented by eight garden clubs in Pierce County. "In 1975 it was decided that clubs east of Tacoma would become their own district. We named ourselves Hill and Dale District because we covered the valley and foothills of the Cascades. Twenty-four garden clubs left the Capital District to form the Hill & Dale District of Washington State Federations of Garden Clubs, and then became the sponsor organization for the fairs Floral Building." The Hill and Dale District of Garden Clubs has been responsible for organizing the wonderful competitive display of flowers within the Floral Building. The displays are from all over Pierce County.
 
The Pomona Grange

The Pomona Grange

Each year members of Granges within Pierce County have the opportunity to competitively promote their Grange with a booth in the Grange Building of the Pierce County Fair. The Pierce County Granges are:

Roy Grange 702 - Roy WA
Elk Plain Grange (still under construction)
Collins Grange #893 - Tacoma WA
Fruitland Grange - Puyallup WA
Edgewood Grange - Edgewood WA
Riverside Valley Grange - Fife WA
Waller Road Grange - Tacoma WA
McMillan Grange - Puyallup WA

The Pomona Grange of Pierce County also provides delicious burgers, hot dogs, polish dogs, French fries, soda, and much much more during the Fair at the Pomona Grange Kitchen.
 
Firestore Drill Team

Firestore Drill Team

One of the first to greet you at the Pierce County Fair is the FireStorm Drill Team. They are the Fair's parking lot attendants, directing and parking cars on horseback! The FireStorm Drill Team is a co-ed competitive drill team riding out of the Tacoma Unit in Spanaway, WA. They perform at competitions, rodeos, fairs, public events, and parades. 
Graham Business Association

Graham Business Association

The GBA serves a growing number of Graham businesses. Similar to Chambers of Commerce, the Graham Business Association recognizes the strength of networking and working together. "What’s Good For Community Is Good For Business" 
Graham Fire & Rescue

Graham Fire & Rescue

Serving the people and protecting the property of Graham. Each year, Graham Fire and Rescue go to great lengths to not only provide a wonderful interactive educational display at the fair but also provide first aid services for fair patrons and exhibitors. 
Washington State Fair Association

Washington State Fair Association

The Washington State Fair Association represents fairs from throughout the state providing educational opportunities and interaction. This organization was the leader in the fight for securing stable fair funding. Each year, two major “Super Schools” and Annual Convention provide educational opportunities for the people involved in operating fairs.

The Washington State Fair, lovingly known as “The Puyallup”, has been a loyal supporter of the smaller fairs. They play host to several youth fairs such as the Washington State 4-H Fair, FFA State Exhibition, and the Junior Poultry Show. 
Frontier Park

Frontier Park

Frontier Park is the location of the Pierce County Fair. The parklike setting of the Fair gives it a country flare feeling with a warm cozy family-friendly environment to walk around in. During the Fair, you can visit the buildings housing the 4-H animals, peruse the still-life exhibits, and partake in the delicious Fair Food while sitting under a tree in the shade listening to a favorite entertainer. Gotta Go To Graham and Experience the Magic!
